QikKids has an easy to use picture scanning, editing and storage system. All images are automatically resampled to 112 X 112 pixels and stored in the database in a jpg format. Typically a single picture would require 3 - 4k of storage. There is no need to edit or resample the image prior to importing.
Import
Browse to and select the name of the picture you wish to import. QikKids can recognise most common image formats.
The QikKids Image Editor Screen will appear
If necessary, use the Rotate button to correctly orient the image. Use the Brightness and Contrast buttons to adjust the image so the face is clearly visible.
Using the mouse, draw a circle around the head or face of the subject.
When finished, press OK.
