Use XP / 2003 CD Burning Software
Windows XP / 2003 contains built in CD packet writing software. Tick this to allow QikKids to use the built in CD software for backups and claim lodgements.
Note: If you use 3rd party CD software such as InCD or DirectCD do not enable this option. See Using CD's for Backup and Claims.
Enable Attendance Scanner
Ticking this enables the scanner interface in QikKids. The scanner interface allows QikKids to collect data from external devices, such as barcode scanners, OMR scanners, touch screens and kiosks. Please contact QikKids Support for more information.
Enable PDF Creation
Professional and Enterprise Editions Only. Enables support for saving and emailing reports and statements as Adobe Acrobat Files. You must have the QikKids PDF Printer installed from the QikKids CD.
Disable Data Button
Tick to block access to the Data button on the QikKids logon screen. This will help prevent users opening other databases.
Show Service Pack Warning
QikKids warns the user when certain core files are out of date. This includes MDAC, JET and Office Service Packs. Tick to disable these warnings.
Note: This setting will not take effect on networked computers until they have logged in and logged out again.
