QikKids supports hand held barcode scanners as a quick way of entering In / Out times for attendances and tracking items in the resource library.
The system will work with any standard keyboard wedge scanner (USB / PS2) set the following parameters:
Font: Code 39 Standard ASCII
Preamble: <CTRL ON><SHIFT ON>"/"<CTRL OFF><SHIFT OFF>
Note: skip the quotes around "/"
Terminator: Return(LF)
Postamble: None
