Important Skills

Learning to use Multiple Selection will greatly reduce the time taken to perform many operations in QikKids (and Windows programs in general). Most lists of items (such as accounts, rolls, ledger and banking) allow more than one item to be selected. For instance, when you are marking the roll it makes sense to mark all the same attendances at the same time. You can highlight all the children who attended a particular session and click Mark to mark them all.

To highlight more than one entry at a time hold down the <Ctrl> key while you are clicking on the names. Clicking on a name that is already selected will cancel the selection. To select a range of entries you can click on the first entry, hold the <Shift> key down and click on the last entry. All the entries in between will also be selected.

Note: It is important that you become familiar with using Multiple Selection.
